I have registered for the Summit in NJ and I'm a NYer with no car. ;-) Is anyone headed that way that could offer me a ride? I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

I would like to make your seminar but have a schedule conflict with the one that is nearest me.

Is there any chance that after the scheduled stops are done, that the seminar will be available online for those that missed or could not attend?

Please advise.

Thank you

I am working from three different locations right now, none of which are mine. Whereas the three are growning I want to open my very own location where I can be the owner. So will your seminar address how to start from scratch? One challenge: No startup money, no transferring students from the other locations, no building, no nothing. How do you start a martial arts business from absolute zero?

I am having trouble with our Referral Program. Our price this session is an iPod Shuffle and I have only ONE person entered to win it. The rules are as follows: Bring in a Friend receive one ticket, Friend Joins 30 Day VIP Program receive 3 tickets and if the friend joins you get 5 tickets. I feel this system is easy effortless. Should it be though? I have the board displayed with the price right on the front desk so EVERYONE can see it and it is also in the News and Announcements EVERY class.

Any suggestions would be helpful...

Hey Wes,
Thanks for the question!

So you need a smoother "presentation" process.

We'll definitely spend some time on that in these sessions.

We're ALSO going to be doing a special HIGH LEVEL "Leadership, and Ethical Persuasion" "bootcamp" in a few months.
VERY high level!

I'll keep you in the loop, and let you know if/when we decide to open it up to members.

Thanks for asking!
I'm struggling with keeping my staff (instructors) motivated.
I keep finding my instructors teaching the same warm ups over and over, and teaching the forms the EXACT same way over and over.
I can see the students' eyes glaze over...and I know that they deserve more from my team.
How can I keep them from getting 'stale'?

Thanks!

Sales pitch, I need to here good sales pitch's. I have about 380 students, so I can sell lessons, but I can be better, way better. My price is $45 a month to $189 a month, so price does not matter, as I have a 13 clubs, some have waiting lists to get into. When price is an issue, I can bring the price down, by shifting them to another club, or give them bare bones classes, but still some people do not see the value, and will not sign up, yet others put $643.00 down and pay $174.25 a month (2 kids). I say it's my sales pitch, so let me know what works for other people! And or tell me what I might be doing wrong?

My biggest challenge is getting new students and retaining the old ones, with most students I have no problem retaining them, it's getting the new ones that I find hard to do, I have put out fliers, advertised, offered free classes, reduced my monthly fees, but due to the ecomony in Michigan especially, people complain about the money

one other question. Summer is always the slowest time of year for us. We offer summer camps, but July always seems to see a significant decline in customers, and revenue. What else can I do? We don't have contracts, because our biggest competitors have contracts and we want to be different.
