About NAPMA.

NAPMA, the National Association of Professional Martial Artists, is a martial arts marketing, continuing education, networking and support association for martial arts schools and clubs worldwide. It is the largest such association in the world, with members in more than 20 countries.

NAPMA is proud of its diverse membership—from new instructors and newly opened schools to well-established school owners; part-time instructors with a few classes a week as well as school owners with multiple locations and hundreds of students; and instructors of many arts, languages and cultures. Professional martial artists of any style, background or affiliation are welcomed to join NAPMA.

NAPMA’s professional staff serves its members through a number of membership opportunities and a complement of member benefits and support programs.

NAPMA’s mission is to increase dramatically the number of people participating in quality martial arts programs worldwide.

NAPMA’s goal is to help its members create the futures they envision for themselves, their schools and their families.

NAPMA’s purpose is to lead the industry into a future of greater recognition by the public of the martial arts’ role in developing children into leaders and positive adult role models; to help members improve staff training and develop school ownership and career opportunities; and promote local schools as community support and self-defense learning centers.
