In last month’s NAPMA News, NAPMA announced that it would be upgrading to the latest versions of Microsoft® Publisher® and Adobe® InDesign® software on March 1, 2007. Members were recommended to upgrade their versions, also.
In the interim, Microsoft has released even a newer version of Publisher, or Publisher 2007. NAPMA now recommends that, if you haven’t already upgraded to Publisher 2003, then you should purchase Publisher 2007, instead. NAPMA apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused. | more >>

Mark Graden, NAPMA director of martial arts curriculum, announced that NAPMA is now planning the third set of audio CD interviews in The Colasanti Interviews Series, tentatively titled "The Legacies of the Legends," and scheduled for a 2007 release.

Rob Colasanti, NAPMA president, reports that 798 new members joined NAPMA during 2006, which is the most active year for membership growth since NAPMA’s founding almost 12 years ago.
“There were 84 new members during December, which was NAPMA’s 23rd consecutive month of positive membership growth,” said Colasanti. “This is particularly significant, since December is typically a shorter business month, and it’s more difficult to talk with instructors and school owners because of their holiday schedules. | more >>
