Paul Garcia To Present Business Series on NAPMA Sounds of Success CD
Paul Garcia, NAPMA member and highly successful school owner, will present an exclusive series of martial arts business seminars on the NAPMA Sounds of Success CD.
Scheduled to begin next month, NAPMA School Growth Essentials will be an intense 15 minutes of the business fundamentals of martial arts school operations, developed specifically for smaller schools that are ready to grow.
According to Mr. Garcia, the first couple of segments will cover marketing. He will then present administrative concepts, including how to use the phone to enroll new students; why and how to teach; and effective introductory program, so students not only enroll, but also refer new students. The series will also explain how to develop programs for mass appeal, renewals and upgrades, and leadership training for owners and staff.
"The goal of this program is to give school owners a comprehensive, step-by-step plan for marketing, managing and building a successful school. Success will be defined as having a positive impact on local communities and operating profitably," said Garcia.
Mr. Garcia owns America’s Best Defense in Attleboro, Massachusetts, where he and his staff teach more than 500 students, with a highly systematized school operation. He was also the head consultant for United Professionals and is a current martial arts and business student of Kyoshi Steve LaVallee.
Mr. Garcia has been a frequent contributor to NAPMA, with teaching segments on the NAPMA Innovations DVD and his two-part Sounds of Success CD interview, "The Ultimate Upgrade System," in the July and August 2006 NAPMA Professional Packages.
